Meet Christian Hamilton, a dedicated professional boxer and coach at Champion Boxing & Fitness. With 10 years of experience at Champion, Coach Christian has been deeply involved in various programs, including competing on the Fight Team & becoming an assistant coach, coaching the Young Champions program, and teaching fitness classes. Christian’s journey into coaching was inspired by his own experiences as a young athlete at the gym.
He wanted to work with kids who, like him, were eager to learn and improve themselves through hard work. His coaching philosophy centers around mastering the basics and emphasizing the importance of repetition in boxing. Christian finds fulfillment in watching kids ask questions and grow in their skills, remembering his own journey and the mentors who guided him. Now a professional boxer with an impressive record of 6-0, 4KO, Christian has competed in numerous national tournaments at the amateur level. He is a multi-time Golden Glove Champion and member of the D.C. Boxing Hall of Fame, with over 25 amateur fights under his belt.
Boxing has not only given him a sense of purpose but has also provided him with a profound feeling of being alive and at his best. Outside of coaching and boxing, Christian enjoys reading, listening to music, drinking tea, and watching anime. He sees Champion Boxing & Fitness as a home and is committed to making it a welcoming place for everyone.
