Class details
Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) was founded to provide an effective form of physical exercise for people living with Parkinson’s disease.
Though it may seem surprising, this non-contact boxing-inspired fitness routine is dramatically improving the ability of people with Parkinson’s to live independent lives with a sense of efficacy and self-worth.
Rock Steady Boxing provides encouragement through a “tough love” approach.
Rock Steady Boxing aims to inspire:
- maximum effort
- speed
- strength
- balance
- flexibility
Recent studies also suggest that intense exercise programs may be “neuroprotective,” actually working to delay the progression of symptoms for a healthier, happier life.
