Gary Gioni is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, promoted under professor’s Pedro Sauer (One Spirit Martial Arts, Herndon VA) and Nakapan Phungephorn (BETA Academy, Washington DC)

Gary started training at 18 years old and has been studying, training and competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu for nearly a decade.
In addition to his martial arts endeavors, Gary has also been balancing schooling, with goals of pursuing a career in the physical therapy field.

Along with Gary’s extensive martial arts competition resume and training experience, Gary has also built an expansive track record of teaching martial arts. Gary has worked with and taught martial arts to people of all ages, from a variety of different demographics and skill levels since 2012.

As a head personal trainer I've gained experience in managing clients and trainers. Since 2008, I've strengthened my expertise in creating workout regimens consisting of weightlifting, stretching, conditioning, and most importantly nutrition based improvement. My clientele has been comprised of people of all shapes, sizes, professionals, and beginners ranging from 6 to 96. My goal throughout training is to encourage all clients to use proper technique while utilizing free range of motion exercises to execute an exercise. As Director, I am responsible for meeting with new members for consults and offering our services to help improve each members weight loss experience. My duties for my trainers consist of coordinating dates and times with new clients. As well as checking in with clients to make sure they are attaining there goals.

    Matt began boxing at the age of 21. Over the years he has trained with numerous amateur boxers and professionals (such as Shawn Porter and William Joppy). In addition, Matt has worked along side several coaches such as Bruce Babashan and Robert Crawford, who are considered to be two of the premier boxing trainers in the Washington, DC area.  
      Guy started his martial arts journey in 1998 when he enlisted in the Israeli Defense Force. He served as a sniper in multiple tours of combat duty and was awarded the prestigious "warriors pin". It was there he was also introduced to Krav Maga and it played a vital role in his survival. After his service ended he continued studying Krav Maga as well as kickboxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jui jitsu, and boxing. Guy has experience in instructing Krav Maga/self defense to many different types of students. He is well versed in the craft, bringing stalwart military attitude to high intensity workouts, creating a sense of “unit” for all participants. Guy draws out the best of his clients by constantly challenging you in new ways, fostering their strengths, and fortifying their weaknesses.
