William is an American retired professional boxer who competed from 1993 – 2011.   He held the WBA Middleweight title three times between 1996 and 2003.   William teaches his classes with the love and dedication he has always for to the sport.   His students love his choice of Motown tunes during class.

Meet Other Trainers

Working from home meant we could vary snack and coffee breaks, change our desks or view, goof off, drink on the job, even spend the day in pajamas

Coach Jason Boyer began training in the brutal art of Lethwei in 1986. He fought competitively in Muay Thai from 1991 - 2007 capturing several titles along the way. Coach Boyer began coaching at the young age of 22 simply because he needed more sparring partners, and training them from scratch seemed to be an effective way to acquire them. He has consistently coached ever since, training hundreds along the way, to include bringing countless fighters from scratch to pro. Helping people transform their lives is his passion. Coach Boyer currently oversees our kickboxing program. Additionally, Coach Boyer is a retired decorated police officer and swat team operator. He is currently a police instructor at a local area police academy.
    Gary Gioni is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, promoted under professor’s Pedro Sauer (One Spirit Martial Arts, Herndon VA) and Nakapan Phungephorn (BETA Academy, Washington DC) Gary started training at 18 years old and has been studying, training and competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu for nearly a decade. In addition to his martial arts endeavors, Gary has also been balancing schooling, with goals of pursuing a career in the physical therapy field. Along with Gary’s extensive martial arts competition resume and training experience, Gary has also built an expansive track record of teaching martial arts. Gary has worked with and taught martial arts to people of all ages, from a variety of different demographics and skill levels since 2012.       Alexandru (Alex) Marin is 25 years old. Alex came to the USA five years ago with the dream of becoming the world champion. Since then Alex has worked, sacrificed and struggle to make his dream a reality. Today Alex is ranked among the best fighters in the world a will get his world title shot sometime in mid 2019.  Alex grew up from humble beginning in the town of IAIS Romania where he lived with his parents and 3 siblings. Alex was sent to the local boxing gym by his parents with the hope he could find some discipline and motivation.  Alex was a natural at boxing and soon started competing and dominating the local competing. Over time Alex continued to progress and eventually became the Romanian National Champions two times. It was Alex’s dream to come to the USA a become a professional and compete for a world title.
